LAWSUIT REGARDING PUBLIC ACT 98-0599 What Will The Retired State Employees Association Do? December 2013 As mentioned at recent RSEA monthly meetings and at the annual Holiday Party, the RSEA Board expects to protect the interests of state retirees by initiating or supporting a lawsuit against the reduction (diminishment) of their retirement benefits. Whenever this has been brought up to RSEA members, they have shown strong support for doing this. On December 16, the RSEA Board voted to initiate a lawsuit and began working with an attorney to do that. |
